A native El Pasoan, Karen Pharr, CPM earned her degree from Southwest Institute of Merchandising and Design and attended the University of Texas at El Paso.
She earned her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1997. She is currently a Texas Real Estate Broker and a New Mexico Qualifying Broker. Her career in property management spans more than 30 years managing a portfolio of all property types. Over the span of her career she has managed all property types to include commercial, residential, industrial and medical buildings. She is the former principal/partner of Hiett, Pharr & Associates where she managed the day-to-day operations of the firm as well as the property management portfolio. She is Senior Property Manager at Cushman & Wakefield | PIRES International in El Paso, Texas.
Ms. Pharr serves her profession and the community by staying involved with organizations in El Paso as well as on a regional and national scale. Notably she is the current El Paso Chapter President of IREM and sits on the National IREM Foundation Executive Board of Directors and the IREM National Governing Council. She has held the position IREM Region.
